to Agent Assist.

Start a one-way microphone test to the Kore Agent Assist SIPREC endpoint. The Node service opens the SIPREC session and streams PCMU audio from this page.

Paste the SIPREC URLs from Kore here. They are saved in this browser and take effect immediately; no server restart is needed.

LIVE MICROPHONE TEST

Stream a test session to Kore

SIPREC

Start opens a SIPREC recording session from this VM to Kore. After it is accepted, your browser microphone audio is sent as a single PCMU audio stream.

Checking media server configuration…
!Signaling uses TLS. This prototype streams unencrypted RTP/PCMU media and one audio direction. Use only non-sensitive test speech until Kore confirms the required crypto, codecs, and stream metadata. SIPREC sends audio to Agent Assist; it does not return a spoken Kore response.
WHAT SIPREC DOES

It sends call audio to Kore for Agent Assist.

A SIPREC Session Recording Client (SRC) on the call’s media path sends the recording session, audio streams, and metadata to Kore. After a supported stream reaches the service, the transcript is available in Kore.ai Agent Assist.

iThe live test above sends one browser microphone stream through this VM as a SIPREC session. It does not display the transcript; view that in Kore.ai.
TWO-WAY CUSTOMER CONVERSATION

For a spoken answer, use Kore Voice AI.

The SIPREC standard is for recording/replicating media to a recording server; the SRC normally sends audio and the SRS receives it. It does not define a spoken AI response back to the customer.

Voice-bot call pathNo separate Kore voice-bot SIP URI is configured. A SIP/WebRTC media gateway is also required.
NEXT FOR THE SIPREC TRANSCRIPT

Use an SBC for real calls.

01

For production calls, use a SIPREC-capable SBC in the customer and agent call path.

02

Ask Kore which source IPs and RTP/SRTP ports to allowlist; use a reserved GCP IP for the SRC.

03

Map the SIPREC identifier, call ID, agent ID, and required metadata in the SRC.
